Photo Bead Magnet

These photo bead magnets are good for anyone you know…friends, family, teachers, coaches, the mailman…  ; )

You can personalize these beads with photos, symbols, words (printed off the computer) or decorative scrapbook paper.

Simply cut a 1 inch circle (using a 1 inch punch is easiest) then modge podge the photo on a flat glass bead.

Allow them to completely dry and then hot glue the circle magnet on the back of the bead. Give away or keep for your self to enjoy.  : )

Crayon Wreath – These crayon wreaths are creative, cute and something that will make you smile each time you walk into your child’s classroom. The bright colorful wreath is easy to make and personalize for that special teacher.

All you need is the following…

  • one 8 inch wooden loom
  • one 12 inch wooden loom
  • 3 boxes of 24 Crayola Crayons (great back to school item – $0.25/box)
  • Hot glue gun
  • Decorative buttons or wooden figures
  • Ribbon of choice
  • Sharpie

Assemble wreath using hot glue and crayons. Be careful to keep an eye on how the crayons fit together in the middle, making a complete circle. Placing a cylinder shaped object in the center of the wreath may help for spacing. Once all the crayons are in place, add ribbon, wooden decorations and personalize with a Sharpie. I also included 3M hooks for the teachers to hang them on the wall with. Be careful while wrapping and delivering, the wreaths are fragile!  ; )

Overdue Notice…

Boy, I am surprised that it has been since September since I have last posted. With a new school year starting and then the holidays up next…time does get away from you. I will make up for it in the end. One of my resolutions last year was to post two new posts a month. I sure didn’t make that goal on a monthly basis, but if you add all the posts throughout the year…I came out on top!  ; ) Now to work towards those new resolutions….

This Christmas the kids and I worked on many homemade gifts to give to our teachers, family and friends. We would love to share them with you….

The first were personalized towels. I made these for my two kidos and for a good friends’ too. Now I have added a few more to the roster for a swim meet coming up this Saturday!! Enter the basket raffle to win the GVST towels!!
